Carrie promises honesty and integrity in all dealings with clients, and respects your views and beliefs.  It is never possible to know how a healing session will progress, and it may bring about unexpected emotions and changes. The National Federation of Healers website explains: “healing penetrates the deepest levels of a person's being where many illnesses have their origin - including stress, tension and fatigue. Symptoms start to disappear as the cause is revealed and removed. Changes in attitude and the quality of life often follow and continue the good work…….. addressing illness and injury at source and aiding recovery at all levels of the patient's being”.

Intuitive healing with channelled wisdom; clairvoyance; psychic counselling; The Work; and self-development workshops may challenge, question, guide, and otherwise support you in pursuing life changes. It is a powerful way of gaining insight into your life and so empower you to make changes and enjoy a healthy life.  Carrie is not a doctor nor a trained psychiatrist or counsellor: any healing given must never replace conventional diagnosis or treatment by the medical authorities. If you suffer from a psychiatric disorder or are in need of psychoanalysis or counselling for any reason, then please visit an appropriate place.

Carrie does not dispense medical advice nor other advice; where information is provided, or ideas and suggestions given through intuition or channelled wisdom, such information should not be interpreted as advice, and no responsibility can be taken by Touchwood.   Where clients choose to help themselves based on such information, ideas and suggestions, the clients shall indemnify and hold harmless Touchwood and Carrie against all liabilities, claims, losses, damages or expenses arising directly or indirectly or in any way associated with any use of the service by the client or provision of the service. It is recommended that all medical conditions should be treated by a physician competent in treating that particular condition; liability for such treatments lies with that physician, responsibility for determining competence lies with the client.

You have free will and can make your own clear, informed choices.  You are fully responsible for all of your own decisions and actions. Although you may choose to listen to the ideas, suggestions and information (which may include channelled guidance) through Carrie, you remain fully responsible for yourself.

Only people over the age of 18 may buy any products or services from Touchwood.  Anyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a care-giving adult at any session.

Under the Code of Conduct of the UK Healers Carrie must ‘keep clear notes of healing to patients’. She promises the client that all information provided will be kept strictly confidential, except where mutually agreed. However, examples may be used anonymously from time to time for the purpose of helping and inspiring other clients. Therefore, specify anything that you wish never to be mentioned even without any way that anyone could recognise you.  See PRIVACY POLICY
 
Payment may be by cash, postal order, or cheque and is usually made in £ sterling (contact Carrie regarding payment questions from overseas). Touchwood also takes credit or debit card payments and Paypal payments. Payment for products will usually be on or before receiving, or postage of the products.  Payment for services such as ‘The Work’, for healing, and for any workshop or other training session will usually be paid before receiving the service.  However, if it ever occurs that no healing or wisdom is channelled through Carrie (when a session has been requested), then no payment will be necessary, and any money returned.  This has never yet happened!

You undertake to pay the agreed cost and to keep any agreed appointments wherever possible, or to provide at least 24 hours advance notice of any need to rearrange appointments where a change is absolutely necessary.  Any recompense of a workshop payment may have an administrative fee deducted, and be limited to attendance at another Touchwood workshop.

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied, Touchwood will refund a mutually agreed fair amount, or provide additional sessions or support (your choice). In reality, it’s expected that you will be delighted with the products and service. If Carrie needs to cancel any workshop or personal session then your payment will be refunded in full.
 

Due to the nature of the products, Touchwood Flower Essences, Kombucha and audio-tapes of your healing session may not usually be returned.  If you are not delighted with any other product, please contact Carrie to discuss options.

This document is intended to be a legal and mutually binding agreement between Carrie Thomas of Touchwood and any clients.

Touchwood reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove parts of these Terms and Conditions at any time. Please check these Terms periodically for changes.

Accuracy of information: Touchwood takes care to ensure that the information it provides on this website is correct but cannot guarantee that the information will be accurate, complete or up-to-date. We give no warranty, either express or implied, as to accuracy, fitness for purpose or quality of the information contained in this website.
